Bangalore Tech Summit 2023

Being in Bangalore offers the advantage of experiencing the best tech summits held in the city. I recently attended the 2023 tech summit in Bangalore and was truly impressed by the advancements in homegrown tech stacks and the Internet of Things (IoT) space.

With approximately 50,000 attendees, the event provided a significant opportunity for around 550 exhibitors (including about 250 startups) to showcase their offerings.

I had the chance to interact with several companies, and I’ll briefly mention some of them below:

  1. iTriangle: This company is the largest transportation telemetry company in India, boasting an extensive clientele that includes big names like Bosch, Ola, Royal Enfield, and MapMyIndia. What caught my attention was their telemetry collection interface, which aligns with our plans to integrate it into TripMantu GPS stubs. You can find more about them on their website.
  2. Lekha Wireless: They displayed a vast inventory of radio RAN displays, showcasing 4G/5G radio units. I was particularly intrigued by their Network-in-a-Box (NIB) offering, although I couldn’t find a matching product on their website.
  3. EIZO: Hailing from Japan, EIZO specializes in manufacturing industrial displays, including huge curved monitors designed for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities. These curved displays are especially appealing from a developer’s perspective. Explore their offerings on their website.
  4. CEREBRALAX: This startup delves into brain wave tapping with its innovative and sleek head unit. Their product, emphasizing play, interaction, and development, looks promising. You can pre-book the headset from their website.
  5. MinionLabs: A local IoT company, MinionLabs manufactures smart electric tapping devices for industries, helping them analyze electric consumption and cut down costs. Learn more about their products on their website.
  6. Effortless: This company manages finances based on email triggers, offering a concept similar to the igoori ruleEngine, part of the RahaInnovations portfolio. Effortless can be likened to Zapier specifically designed for the financial domain. Explore their services on their website.
  7. RuggedBoard: Positioned as India’s Swadeshi chipboard manufacturer, RuggedBoard is a single-board CPU with the capability to expand to multiple interfaces, suitable for IoT experiments and large-scale deployments. They also conduct IoT training boot camps and have strong developer community support.
